Once a Vision,
Now an Operation
Founded in Charleston by Samuel Chase Williams, Christmas Elves was created with a clear vision: to raise the standard for holiday lighting.
Built from the ground up, Christmas Elves has grown into a multi-city operation known for reliability, craftsmanship, and attention to detail. We use only professional-grade materials, imported directly from our factory in China, to ensure every light shines brighter and lasts longer.
How We Source Our Lights (And Why It Matters)

"Most people don’t think twice about where their Christmas lights come from — but I did.
When I started Christmas Elves, I quickly realized the quality of lights available here in the U.S. wasn’t cutting it. Bulbs were inconsistent. Clips would snap. Wire felt cheap. And worst of all, it was overpriced.
So I decided to fix that.
I booked a flight to China and spent weeks visiting factories, walking through warehouses, and sitting down with manufacturers face to face. I asked questions. I tested samples. I compared quality side by side. And by the time I flew home, I had built relationships with direct suppliers — no middlemen, no markups, just better lights.
Now, the lights we use aren’t just good — they’re built for the job. Commercial-grade bulbs. Durable socket wire. Contractor-style packaging. Everything we install is made to last an entire season and look sharp the whole time.
Flying across the world might seem extreme, but I believe if you're going to do something — especially something people see every night for two months — it should be done right.
That trip to China helped shape what Christmas Elves is today: A professional holiday lighting company that doesn’t cut corners — on quality, materials, or service."
